RAZORRAM Success where 2500 slickline Jars Failed
RAA UK major operator in P&A mode had to retrieve a RBP that had been in the hole for 20 years +, after 2 weeks and 2500 jarring hits on the fish with no success the RAZORRAM was mobilised. One RAZORRAM run and fish released in a few hours, call RAZOR for a cost and operations effective slickline conveyed stroker solution!

RAZOR Completes first RAZORCUT Run in Tunisia
RAThe first RAZORCUT operation has been completed in Tunisia for a major operator cutting 3 ½” 9.2 ppf P-110 tubing at 0° deviation and 71°C. This is cut number 2 with the 3 ½” RAZORCUT, the non-explosive, non-lithium and slickline conveyance were major factors in tool selection for the customer and RAZORCUT delivered.

RAZORCUT Completes Series of ASV Cuts
RAZOR was approached by a Norwegian customer for a solution of cutting cut to release Annular Safety Valves (ASV) on slickline. RAZOR replicated the ASV cuts onshore proving it could be done and to date we have cut 6 each ASV mandrels successfully on slickline saving the customer significant cost when compared to how this was performed previously on eline.

RAZOR Commercialises the RAZORBLADE for 9 5/8” Casing
RAZOR has commercialised the RAZORBLADE puncher for 9 5/8” tubing/casing in Saudi Arabia, the customer needed to punch several uncemented areas of the casing in a timely manner. The non-explosive nature of the RAZORBLADE made it the perfect choice for fast mobilisation to the wellsite where 5 punching runs and resin squeezes were completed successfully.

RAZORRAM & Crown Plugs
RAZOR has always thought that the RAZORRAM memory slickline stroker was the right tool for pulling stubborn or hydrostatically loaded crown plugs (CPs). Traditionally when CPs cannot be pulled by slickline operators move straight to eline strokers however RAZORRAM offers an alternative choice. Recently we got to prove this successfully in the UK for a major operator saving rig time and intervention costs.

RARAZORCUT run 40 has now been completed and was performed for a major customer in the United Arab Emirates cutting 4 ½” 12.6 ppf 13Cr-80 tubing at 26° deviation and 124°C BHT. This is the 32nd cut in a row without failure, non-explosive, no debris or swell pipe cutting, how good is that!

First RAZORCUT Run in Saudi Arabia
RAZORCUT run 25 has now been completed and was performed for a major customer in Saudi Arabia cutting 4 ½” 11.6 ppf J-55 tubing at 48° deviation and 99°C BHT. This is the 17th cut in a row without failure and is positioning the RAZORCUT tool as an excellent pipe cutting alternative in the oil & gas industry.

RAZOR Appoints New Service Delivery & Operations Managers
RARAZOR is pleased to announce that Ian Tomlinson has accepted a new role as RAZORs Service Delivery Manager and Jack Murdie who is promoted to the role of Operations Manager. RAZOR is very pleased to share with you that we have completed our first RAZORCUT operation in Norway for a major Norwegian operator cutting 5 ½” 17.0 ppf L-80 tubing at 40° deviation and 115°C. This is cut number 20 and the 12th cut in a row without failure. non-explosive, non-lithium, no debris, no swells slickline conveyed cutting!

RAZOR has now completed 12 cuts with the slickline conveyed RAZORCUT tool cutting 4 ½”, 5” and 5 ½” tubing sizes. While we have encountered some job problems which is not unexpected for a new tool we have completed the last 5 runs with no issues. RAZOR has now commercialised the RAZORCUT tool for 5.000” & 5.500” tubing with commercial cuts having been made with both tool sizes. Watch this space for updates on commercialisation of the tools for 3 ½” and 7” tubing.

RAZORCUT Completes 1st Successful Run
RARAZOR has completed the worlds first commercial run of the RAZORCUT tool offshore UK North Sea. 4 ½” 12.6 lb/ft 13 Cr-80 Tubing which was cut in compression in 8.85 minutes. The cut was completed on slickline, at 33° deviation and created no tubing swell or debris as designed. The RAZORCUT is a game changer for our customers, it eliminates dangerous goods and electric line, reduces equipment foot print and POB.

RAZORCUT Introduction
RARAZOR Oiltools has introduced the worlds first memory, slickline conveyed, non-explosive, non-lithium, no swell, no debris tubing cutter to the oil & gas industry. RAZOR completed the first trial runs of the RAZORCUT tool offshore UK, while issues were encountered the technology is expected to be commercialised within the next 3 months. RAZORRAM Success
RARAZOR RAZOR recently performed a slickline conveyed memory stroker operation with the RAZORRAM tool. The customer had a ball valve stuck in the closed position and after many attempts at jarring the ball into the open position decided to try another approach. The RAZORRAM stroker was run and utilized to anchor in the tubing, latch into the ball valve and push and lock the tool into the open position in a single run. Job done!

2022 saw RAZOR quadruple our number of runs from 2021, personnel increased from 6 to 12 and we worked in the UK, Denmark, Angola and the UAE. Our customer satisfaction KPI averaged 98.04% for the year which we are very proud of and is a testament to the effort put in by all the people at RAZOR. We look forward to delivering the reliability and efficiency that our customers experienced in 2022 in 2023.

RAZORRAM & RAZORBLADE Does the Job in North Sea
RAZOR recently mobilised the 3.600" RAZORRAM tool to the UK continental shelf to fish a high expansion retrievable bridge plug which had become stuck in a lower completion nipple. Two RAM runs were made to stroke the plug into the release position which enabled the tool to be pushed downhole. The plug became stuck again in the tailpipe however the customer chose to punch above the plug with the RAZORBLADE tool to bring the well back into production.

First Coil Tubing RAZORBLADE Run
RAZOR has performed our first RAZORBLADE run on coil tubing for TotalEnergies in Denmark. RAZOR ran dual 3.600" RAZORBLADE tools to punch 4 1/2" 12.6 tubing in a single run to achieve the punching of 12 holes and associated flow area. The job was completed flawlessly eliminating the need for explosives and lithium batteries, simplifying logistics and also bringing the zone in question into production.

RAZOR Appoints Operations Manager
RAZOR Oiltools has appointed Ian Tomlinson to the position of Operations Manager. Ian brings a wealth of operations experience into his new role along with a strong knowledge of eline, slickline and intervention services. Ian will be based in RAZORs Aberdeen office taking care of operations both domestically in the UK and internationally.

RAZOR Oiltools has promoted Al See from his current role of Business Development Manager to the position of Region Manager North Sea. Al has done a great job since joining RAZOR helping position the company as an up and coming intervention service provider in the North Sea. Al will take responsibility for The United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Denmark and Norway leading RAZOR to further growth and prosperity in the region.

RAZOR Awarded Drill Prep Intervention Scope
RARAZOR Oiltools has been awarded a 5 well predrill intervention work scope for Apache North Sea Limited. The RAZOR RPLUG and RAZORPOP (pump open plug) along with the RAZORBLADE tool will be used for well integrity and tubing punch services in 3 1/2" and 4 1/2" tubing. The elimination of explosives and lithium batteries improves safety, logistics and operational efficiencies for Apache.

RAZORBLADE Trials for Saudi Aramco
RARAZOR Oiltools has completed 3 each trial wells for Saudi Aramco where both 3 1/2" and 4 1/2" tubing was punched for circulating during workover operations. The trials were completed successfully with the RAZOR KPI score at 93.33% overall for the 3 wells. RAZOR looks forward to performing additional wells in future for the great company that Saudi Aramco is.

First Operation for EnQuest PLC in the U.K.
RARAZOR Oiltools has completed its first operation for EnQuest PLC in the North Sea, the RAZORBLADE tool was utilized to punch 3 1/2" 10.2 L-80 tubing during P&A operations. The non explosive, non lithium nature of the tool enabled easy logistics, improved safety and punch confirmation ensuring an efficient job was delivered.

What a great year 2021 has been for RAZOR Oiltools, we performed our first job in May in West Africa and finished the year working for one of the North Sea's busiest operators. We commercialised the RAZORBOSS, RAZORBLADE, RAZORRAM and RPLUG tools with a 100% success rate! We grew from 2 to 6 employees, did not hurt anyone and had a great x-mas party. Onward and upward in 2022!

RAZOR ISO Accreditation Journey Continues
RAZOR recently completed our ISO 14001-2015 and 45001-2018 stage 1 audits successfully and we now look forward to putting our best foot forward and achieving the full accreditation in December 2021. The RAZOR Management System (RMS) is a key management tool that allows RAZOR to continually improve what we do and to consistently deliver a high level of service to our customers.

First North Sea RAZOR RPLUG Deployments
RAZOR has completed the first 3 runs of the 4 ½” RPLUG retrievable bridge plug system for a prominent UK client, junk catchers were also utilised on each run. The plugs were run and pressure tested and after a few days equalised and retrieved with zero issues. The compact nature of the setting tool and plug at 8.50 feet in length was a key feature in delivering a smooth operation with minimal rig up height available.

RAZOR Heavy Pipe Punching Milestone
RAZOR Oiltools has been working diligently for a Middle East client to develop a slickline conveyed, non-explosive tubing/casing punch system capable of punching 7” 32.0 ppf Q-125 tubing. Not only did we meet the customers challenge, we exceeded it by punching 7” 38.0 ppf Q-125 tubing which has a 0.540” wall thickness with the RAZORBLADE tool. RAZOR Awarded First RAZORRAM Operation in Australia
RARAZOR Oiltools has been awarded our first RAZORBOSS with RAZORRAM tool run in Australia. The fishing job will be performed offshore for a major Australian operator with the 3.600" version of RAZORRAM the tool. The intervention will be run on slickline and RAZORRAM will apply up to 60,000 lbs of pull force at the fish. We'll update you on how the job went in the next few months.

RAZOR Moves Towards Further ISO Accreditation
RAZOR has now moved to the first step in ISO 14001-2015 and 45001-2018, our stage 1 audit is scheduled for October 2021. These additional certifications will help ensure that the RAZOR Management System (RMS) is in a state of continuous improvement and therefore allowing RAZOR to continually improve our service delivery to customers.

First RPLUG Run in Asia Pacific
RAZOR is pleased to announce that we have completed our first 5.500" RAZOR RPLUG runs in Asia Pacific. So far in the project 2 runs have been made with the 5.500" 17-20 PPF RPLUG successfully. At 8.5 feet long for the setting tool, setting adapter and plug the system is short, light weight and perfect for a quick mobilisation via helicopter or aircraft (the non-explosive and non-lithium helps as well of course!) First RAZORRAM Run in Colombia
RAZOR via our partner HOSS Heavy Oil Solutions have successfully deployed the first RAZORRAM tool in Colombia for an international oil & gas operator. The 2.125" RAZORRAM has a nominal 20,000 lbs of pull or push force and can be used in 2 7/8" to 4 1/2" tubing for fishing, stroking, breaking of glass or ceramic discs etc. Call RAZOR if you think we have an application we can help you with.

RAZOR Introduces 5.500" RAZOR RPLUG
RAZOR today introduces another add on to the RAZORBOSS platform of tools with the introduction of the 5.500” RPLUG which compliments the 4.500” RPLUG released in February 2021. RPLUG is a compact retrievable bridge plug certified to ISO 14310 V3 standard to operate at pressures up to 5,000 psi and temperatures up to 275F. RAZORRAM & RAZORBLADE in West Africa
RAZOR recently mobilised the RAZORRAM and RAZORBLADE tools at short notice to West Africa to assist a client in shifting a stuck SSD to the open position and allow the customer to produce the zone in question. RAZOR mobilised very quickly, and our equipment operated as designed, the case history will be available very soon.

RAZOR Introduces RAZORRAM.
RAZOR Oiltools has released the next add on tool to the RAZORBOSS Plug & Play platform of tools. The RAZORRAM adapter is a fishing or stroking tool for the retrieval of stuck objects in the wellbore or for the manipulation of sleeves and valves. Chris Chalker, MD of RAZOR Oiltools commented "RAZORRAM provides our customers with the opportunity to put a straight, high force pull at the fish, eliminating jarring. An additional benefit is that the tool records max tension pulled, in the event the fish does not come free the information is valuable in planning the next step of the operation".

RAZOR Oiltools has released the RAZORBLADE tool as the latest add on to the RAZORBOSS Plug & Play platform. The RAZORBLADE tool punches the tubing creating a flap that does protrude from the tubing however does not create any debris in the wellbore. RAZORBLADE is an option to the RAZORPUNCH adapter for circulating /killing wells prior to workover or P&A.
